On the 20th February, 2026, LBDA ensured a personal visit was made to one of their Libyan members based in Benghazi with the full UK delegation present.

Reception for H.E. Martin Reynolds

LBDA had a private dinner in 15th December 2025 at the Travellers Club to commemorate the appointment of the new Libyan Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Martin Reynolds.

Since the 15th Decmeber, LBDA has hosted the ambassador alongside their members and partners such as NHS England and Audere Group to discuss routes to improvement for healthcare, banking and security using British Expertise. Meeting 4/4 concluded on 5th August 2026.

Convening the British Trade Delegation to Libya
